A colour CCD camera hidden in this PIR detector automatically records Images on a removable SD memory card upon movement detection. The camera will turn on and record full-motion video whenever someone moves into its wide field-of view, then shut off automatically when people leave, using either motion or heat detection.

Once you have identified an area that has potential to become a repeat crime location, installing the PIR and monitoring its output is simple.
A 2GB SD card (not included) will give 6 - 7 hours of video. The camera has a high resolution of 420 lines and can be run off either its internal battery or the 5v AC power adaptor provided.

It looks exactly like a PIR detector and so no one realises it is actually a camera. I have a 16GB SD card inside and so it is really easy to pop into my PC and check any footage captured. (Posted on 21/04/2013) -

I was pleasantly surprised with picture quality of PIR 6601 which for price is amazing! Despite what is advertised unit will accept a 4GB SDHC Card( Group 2 is enough for stills & 6 for Avi Clips)

Minor gripes are :power lead is black so more visible than white but can be painted, no card supplied, bracket has to be filed for easy fit. and the remote has bearly legible icons, duplicated clearly on back of unit and can be used in preference
Unlike the Swann, the card is not visible in use nor are there tell-tale lights on or flashing in operation
